The students' union represents the views of the student community, and works to improve the student experience at the university. RGU:Union is run by an Executive Board of students who are elected in March each year. ... RGU:Union also provides a range of extra-curricular opportunities for students to engage in.

Founded in 1992, Robert Gordon University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Aberdeen population range of 50,000 249,999 inhabitants, Scotland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Robert Gordon University RGU is a large uniRank enrollment range: 10,000 14,999 students coeducational higher education institution. Robert Gordon University RGU offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Undergraduate

Students with qualifications from any international high school are expected to have results comparable to students from UK institutions

Students who hold the Year 12 State Board High School Examination must have a minimum of 65% overall

Students with West Bengal State Board Examination must a minimum of 55% overall

Students who do not meet our entry requirement will be considered for entry through our International College at Robert Gordon University

Entry requirements for undergraduate courses are listed on the course information pages under Areas of Study

Postgraduate

A first degree with a minimum overall average of 55%; GPA 2.67 4 point scale; GPA 5 7 point scale; or 6.0 GPA/ B/ 'above average' from CBCS 10 Point Scale

Students from University of Mumbai, University of Delhi, University of Chennai, University of Calcutta with a minimum overall average of 50%, will be considered

A small number of University postgraduate programmes do require a minimum of second class upper classification, or an equivalent (please refer to the relevant course page

Applicants with lower qualification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis

Students who do not meet our direct entry requirements may be able to undertake a pre-masters programme through our International College at Robert Gordon University.

Accommodation

We are committed to providing safe, secure and affordable accommodation for our students. We have accommodation at five sites across the city offering a range of prices, rooms, flats and locations. All of our accommodation is self-catered. We also work closely with student accommodation providers in the private sector and will help you choose the right accommodation for you.

Craigievar Development

In a Garthdee location, these 8 one-bed studio flats are about a 5 minute walk to campus and 45 minute walk (or 20-25 minutes by bus) to Union Street. A large Sainsbury’s is about a 5 minute walk away with a 24 hour Asda just a few minutes further.

Crathie Student Village

96 ensuite bedrooms in communal flats midway between the city centre and campus. A 24 hour Asda, an Iceland and a Spar are all within a 10 minute walk.

Garthdee Towers

49 bedrooms with shower and sink in communal flats located on our beautiful riverside campus close to all academic buildings.

Ramsay Development

28 ensuite bedrooms in communal flats situated in a quiet residential area, close to the campus. This location is exclusively for mature and postgraduate students.

Woolmanhill Flats

735 bedrooms with a mixture of ensuite and standard rooms in communal flats located right in the heart of Aberdeen city centre, close to all the amenities you'd expect from a major city.
